Gloucester C 1 Cleevillians 3

Cleevillians came up against a dynamic Gloucester side who deservedly took the lead after 12 minutes with a flick into the top corner of the net. Gloucester then created some good chances and looked dangerous on the break. But for some good defensive work from Stuart Skinner and man of the match Adrian Barratt, Cleevillians could easily have gone further behind. Towards the end of the half Cleevillians found their rhythm and were unlucky not to equalise when both Vince Clark and Tom North hit the post.

The equaliser did arrive early in the second half when Ben Link beat a defender, drove into the "D" and laid a pass to Scott Mcilquham who in turn threaded a fine ball to Vince Clark who scored from close in.

Cleevillians took the lead shortly later when again Ben Link created an opening for Scott Mcilquham who this time found the corner of the goal with a well struck shot. Cleevillians then dominated the rest of the half with Sean Flanagan, Tom North, Toby Flanagan and Martin Halls all going close before with 5 minutes remaining, Tom North added the third.
